The Manotel group is a chain of six prestigious hotels, all situated in the heart of Geneva. All their establishments offer personalized welcome, modern comforts and quality services. Preoccupied by quality, and aiming at perfection, Manotel offers a wide choice to satisfy all desires.
Objectives In order to reinforce its graphical identity while offering the best services, the group wanted a more efficient web presence and a more adequate graphic charter, with powerful web services.
 
Solution The U-Publish content management tool and the other developed modules were integrated to bring better administration, increased control and more efficient updates. A statistics system allows the administrators to automatically analyze the website’s activity while bringing them complete information concerning their visitors’ profiles and interests.
A Newsletter module also allows the group to easily contact its customers to supply them specific information. The restaurant’s menu’s are automatically displayed on the website and can be managed weekly in advance.
Tools and Technology used
Perl 6, Mysql DBMS, Linux RD 7, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
Results The new website with its powerful functions has permitted Manotel’s customers to be better informed and to increase the service quality the group offers. The solution also considerably reduced the website’s maintenance costs by avoiding having to call on external professionals
