| 1. What server technology must I possess to run Neospark® ASP Edition? |

The ASP concept lies on delocalising material and software infrastructure to the online services supplier and on permanent access for customers to rented online applications. Neospark® ASP Edition only requires an Internet navigator on your computer to be used. |
| 2. We already have existing applications on our website, is that a problem? |
| |
No, Neospark® can easily cohabit with you existing applications. The following technologies are perfectly supported: ASP, PHP, COLDFUSION, JSP. |
| 3. Is Neospark® ASP Edition secure? |
| |
Yes, Neospark® uses a number of security processes to ensure security: SSL 128bit for all transactions within Neospark®, SSH and SSL if needed for website publication, and dynamic « firewall » configuration to only accept users coming from a certain IP class. |
| 4. Does Neospark® connect to existing databases ? |
| |
Neospark® can import and export data from your SQL database. Data can be imported in CSV or XML formats. |
| 5. What difference is there between Neospark® and a simple HTML editor? |
| |
HTML editors are website creation tools and not website maintenance tools. Neospark® contains a panel of website management tools. Neospark® not only creates new pages or modifies content in your website, but also lets you control who does what, and when. Thanks to Neospark® you can easily envisage making your company contribute to your website’s maintenance, because the application’s use requires no particular skills, compared to HTML editors. |
| 6. Is Neospark® adapted to Intranets? |

Yes, Neospark® can be used to manage an Intranet site. The most adapted solution is the Neospark® OS Edition because it allows the customers to have the Neospark® on their own servers. The ASP Edition can also be used, with adapted security. |
| 7. How does it work? |

Neospark® servers contain a working copy of your Internet/Intranet website, to which you bring modifications. When you want to publish the modifications online, Neospark® securely transfers data towards your host server. |
| 8. Can Neospark® ASP Edition manage multi-language websites? |

Yes, Neospark® allows multi-language website creation and management. There is no limit to the number of languages in Neospark®. What’s more, an extra language can be added in one mouseclick. |
| 9. Do I necessarily need to pass by a web agency to integrate Neospark®? |

Not if your company has a technical department with knowledge of the problems linked to website conception, but we generally recommend leaving this task to our Integrator Partners who have experience in this process. |

Personalisation is the possibility to automatically analyse a user’s habits and supply information regarding his interests. This kind of technology requires a dynamic website, whereas Neospark® only produces static websites. |
| 11. Can Neospark® analyse my website’s traffic? |

No, Neospark® only allows you to manage your website’s content. Neospark® is not a « log » analysis tool, there are many on the market which can do just that. You might already have such a tool as many hosting companies offer such functions. |

No, Neospark® is not a « mailing » or « newsletter » tool. There are many products on the market adapted to such needs. |
