Multi-site and multi-user architecture

Neospark®'s architecture is composed of a number of levels in which the users are differentiated by their roles.

The architecture can be schematised in the following manner :

1.       Webspark Domain (Level 1)

This domain manages the totality of the platform as well as the lower levels.

2.       Web Agency Domain (Level 2)

This domain is usually reserved to Internet professionals charged with integrating the Neospark® solutions. Companies integrating Neospark® use a centralised management environment for their customers websites.

Two types of users can be distinguished in this domain :

  • The administrators, who are the only ones with the right to create and manage the websites as well as users on the same level and of lower domains.
  • The developers and integrators, who are charged with website production and development.

3.       Site Domain (Level 3)

This domain contains the website and its users. There also exists two types of users for this level :

  • The administrators, who are responsable for user and task management, as well as access rights andcontent editing.
  • The contributors (authors), who are responsable for editing and modifying a website.

The number of users available for a Site domain (Level 3) depends on the type of  Neospark® licence. The « Neospark® ASP Standard Edition » version contains 5 users.
